In 1983, Amalia, originally from Argentina, moved to New Jersey with her three children, Gustavo, Pablo, and Elba. To provide for her family, she began making and selling empanadas, with Pablo helping by delivering them around town. 30 years later, Amalia's children still proudly carry on their mother’s legacy, sharing her cherished recipes at Empanadas Café in a wonderful testament to their family and tradition!
